"Managing Your Energy Costs"

Today’s energy world is radically different from what we have become accustomed to over the past 25 years. Political instability in oil producing nations, coupled with record demand and declining petroleum reserves have created a new energy market place where escalating prices and potential supply disruptions are the new reality. This seminar will help pharmaceutical managers with strategies and examples for dealing with today’s energy issues.

Speakers:

Farley Hunter, - Energy Manager / Novartis Pharmaceutical Corporation: Mr. Hunter is responsible for tracking and minimization of energy usage at the East Hanover site. He is also the building manager for high energy usage facilities including the chemical pilot plant and development laboratory buildings along with all utility buildings. Mr. Hunter has over 20 years experience as a development, process, production and environmental engineer.

Stephen Eber, P.E. – Vice President Development Services / KeySpan: Mr. Eber has over 25 years of experience in study, design, start-up and operations of energy generation (boiler, chiller, cogen) facilities. Mr. Eber has significant expertise in the financial analysis of energy projects, having evaluated dozens of projects to determine their financial viability.

Michael A. Belikoff, P.E. – Senior Vice President / Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor, LLC: Mr. Belikoff has over 15 years of experience in study, design, start-up and operations of energy generation (boiler, chiller, cogen) facilities. He heads up PS&S’ mechanical/electrical division and is also in charge of PS&S’ energy services group.
